The Topsun integrated inductor PU series products are integrated power inductors manufactured using a combination of pre-compressed powder blocks and U-shaped copper sheets, followed by a hot-pressing process. This series of products can be custom-made according to specific requirements. Compared to conventionally hot-pressed integrated inductors, the combined hot-pressing process results in lower DCR and higher current-carrying capacity.

■Background

High-Efficiency Hot-Pressed Inductors builds upon the original thermopress-molded inductor design by replacing the wound coil with a U-shaped copper sheet. This U-shaped copper sheet is directly thermopressed through a combined process, completely eliminating the risk of open or short circuits inherent in conventional inductors. At the same time, this design enhances the inductor’s current-carrying capacity, reduces its overall size, lowers its DCR, improves stability, and minimizes power loss.

Topsun ’s PU series products effectively enhance the response speed of devices in circuits and can withstand higher currents and voltages.
